All of our companies printers/scanners are down and unable to save to shared folders on our network. How would we get them back online? I have not been practicing or working in this field. I took IT course about 9 years ago. HELP! It says printer/scanner malfunction when I look them up on the active directory

I took IT course about 9 years ago. HELP! It says printer/scanner malfunction when I look them up on the active directory

I am in admin and just looking to help out...its somewhat coming back to me but I do not want to mess things up by not knowing how to properly do this. Im sure it is an easy fix. Also does it have to do with sharing permissions? Last week our shared drive was down and then it came back up all of our scanners were malfunctioned.
