My Asus N76V laptop battery says it's 10.8V. However, the amperage is not indicated anywhere. How do I find it out? I have searched now through quite a number of laptop batteries and couldn't seem to find any amperage ratings shown on them anywhere either. Why is that? The reason for asking is that I have an UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that generates 12V 2A as an output. May I use this UPS instead of my 10.8V battery? Here is the scenario: no electricity, the laptop's battery is drained out flat, I use my 12V 2A UPS on my laptop instead. Would appreciate any assistance / comments / suggestions. Many thanks in advance!
