A CPU is not a motherboard. A CPU is a chip on the motherboard. Additionally, the entire PC is not a CPU. The entire PC is a PC. A CPU is a chip.

According to the screenshot you've provided, your motherboard is an Intel DG41WV, the Intel Ark page provides all the information you'll likely need. The manual will also provide this information.
Both of these sources are readily available via a Google search - e.g: "Intel DG41WV" or "Intel DG41WV Manual".
These both suggest that your system supports:
- Up to 4GB of RAM
- Up to two sticks of DDR3 800 Mhz (aka: PC3-6400) or 1066 MHz (aka: PC3-8500)
This means that:
- If you currently have 1× stick of 2GB, you can probably add a second stick of 2GB without issues.
- If you currently have 2× sticks of 1GB each, you will need to replace them both to achieve 4GB.
