For the past week I've been losing my mind and it started when I tried to make a dual boot pc.
The situation is the following:
- When make a bootable flashdrive with rufus via Windows10.iso file it is not being read by the Laptop, altough the same flashdrive does not present the problem when making a Linux flashdrive.
- I've downloaded, updated and upgraded Grub and yet the windows OS is not recognized
- I've run the
boot-reapairapp from ubuntu and it did not solve a thing. The execution of this software present me that the Windows OS did not suffer any damage, its just is not being recognized.
I came here to see how can I reinstall windows as I'm not confident that if I format the ssd the flashdrive with windows will be read.
(please don't present me the solution to read by a DVD)
windows-10 ubuntu boot ssd grub

You question is unclear: 1. If the USB flash drive was not recognized, how was Windows uninstalled? 2. Have you followed the directions fro using Rufus, selecting the correct Liniux distro?
