I intend to run LAMP Turnkey Linux in a virtual machine (VMware Player 15) on a Windows 10 Laptop. The goal is to run a mission-critical web application for a short time. i.e. 1 month.

We are doing that to secure PHP code from being copied or modified PLUS we are very short on deployment time and resource availability.

What are specific possible security and performance problems, I can run into?

Hardware: Core i3 Laptop with 4GB Ram Windows 10

Proposed Setup: 1. Download latest LAMP image file (vmdk) from server 2. Download and install the latest version of VMware Player 3. Launch the VMDK and set up the LAMP Server. 4. Provide Login Details to Dev Ops. 5. The application is installed and setup and URL and passwords are sent to End-users.
