I recently bought a new sandisk ultra 3.0 usb ,it is not write protected I checked that registry editor (write protect value is 0) I can copy/paste my files in the usb but the problem arises
1. When I try to install a program in it ,it shows "Error opening file for writing"installation error
When I try to format usb through cmd(as admin) ,it shows "diskpart has encountered an error:Access is denied"cmd error
even if I copy the folder of a portable app the exe won't runportable app error
I've also tried to change the Owner of the usb but when i click on change no "select user or groups" window appear owner of usb
I just basically wanted to install some applications in the usb.

There are various things it could potentially be, but the symptoms are characteristic of a defective flash drive. Since you recently bought it, my inclination would be to just exercise the warranty and get it replaced.
