Due to the following question being unanswered "Keep Windows 10 lock screen spotlight pictures but turn off all texts hints/balloons" I have created this question to continue to find a work around:

Mimic Windows 10 spotlight:.

  • Have at least three unique logon screen images generate regularly that users can set too.

  • Have images for lock screen randomize and also change over the months.

  • No texts/hints balloons.

  • Works offline.

  • Set up with windows 10 spotlight images, though can be customized with personal images.

  • OK to break windows spotlight, as users can have system backup, and the main purpose is to generate the feel of windows spotlight without texts/hints/balloons.

Can use batch scripts and task scheduler if need be, I presume one would need to hack the cache for this to work.

Current Known Cache Locations:

  • C:WindowsWebScreen

  • C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsSystemData
