I have been doing some installs and I’ve run Windows 7 in clear mode. Then I wanted to get back to normal went to MSConfig and clicked "run normally", after that I’m left with a 0xc000000e
error. Windows 7 disk wont help as it seems boot loader doesn’t see system at all.
I went to use bootrec from command line and with /OsScan
it finds E:Windows
but it should be C:Windows
.
lis disk
Shows 2 disks, drive 0 (where all is) and drive 1 (with just files)
lis part
shows 4 partitions
- vol 0 F UDF DVD-ROM
- vol 1 C (says resctricted access) NTFS 100 mb
- vol 2 E (thats where actually system was)
- vol 3 D (the other hard drive)
Not sure why C is 100mb and has C, while whole disk was C which is now E.
Osfound function finds windows on E:Windows
which normally was C:Windows
Right now the error after reboot is:
File: BootBCD not found
windows-7 windows boot partitioning
