I recently got a DLP installed on my PC. I required USB access, and my company has its rules.
Now, ever since then; I get a new error message when I try starting one of my VMs using Oracle VM Virtual Box here.

This prevents the VM from launching unless I get lucky where it starts sometimes. I was hoping for some way to get around it.

I have tried the following:

  • Reinstalling VirtualBox. Same problem experienced.

  • Got my PC formatted. DLP was re-installed. Same problem experienced.

  • I started using an older version v4.x which is stated to not have this issue. Worked fine for a time. Then I had to migrate to a new VM where it failed as the VM wasn't made for an older version.
