I use chrome and working in different places for different clients on their workstations.
Some of corporate clients workstations impose in a policy to have a corporate homepage with all kind of news I am not only not interested in, but it just slows down my browser opening.
I was trying to replace in the registry the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesGoogleChromeHomepageLocation
key to "chrome://newtab
" (an empty Chrome new tab), but every time I restart my computer the key is changed back to "mycorporate.homepage"
I could put in my hosts file
127.0.0.1 mycorporate.homepage
But is there a way to tell Chrome to redirect that mycorporate.homepage
to chrome://newtab
