I'm trying to get Reatogo's PE Builder (a variant of Bart's PE Builder) to work with SATA drives.

If I put the SATA driver in the SCSIDriver folder, then it boots fine on SATA drives, but it gives a BSOD with error 0x0000007E on IDE drives.

If I do not integrate the SATA driver, then it boots fine on IDE drives, but it gives a BSOD with error 0x0000007B on SATA drives.

I think I managed to get BartPE to work fine on both once, but I don't remember how... does anyone have any solution?

("Make a separate disc for each" or "Change your AHCI BIOS settings" are not solutions!)

I have experienced this system error also. I have not been using a Boot Disk but my system's Boot menu. My BIOS setup menu does not have an AHCI/Raid/IDE feature to change. I currently have three SATA disks in my system and two of them give this error and one of them doesn't. I do believe the error has to do with these settings. I think the answer may lie somewhere between the bootloader, the boot menu and the operating system kernel. But, I have not discovered the answer yet. Additionally it could be conflicts between the EFI/GPT boot process vs the BIOS/MBR boot process.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this issue?
