Mhen I go to my Mac and change directory to tensorflow/models/research/
and enter.
protoc object_detection/protos/*.proto --python_out=.
I get the output:
IS A DIRECTORY
I am stuck at the step and can not move forward - please advise what I am doing wrong? thanks.
I thought the problem is due to this:
make
cp -r pycocotools <path_to_tensorflow>/models/research/
When I execute the above as below:
make
cp -r pycocotools /Applications/anaconda2/lib/python2.7/site-packages/tensorflow/models/research/
I get the following error:
make: *** No rule to make target `cp'. Stop.
macos python open-source

Sorry you are facing this issue, but two things: First, nobody is going to read that GitHub issue post on another site to answer it here. You should always post your full question here. Also, you posted that question on GitHub report 10 hours ago; why do you expect a faster response? Please be patient. Most people helping you online volunteer their time.
