some hours ago i installed a Driver for a virtual input device, after the obligatory restart neither my keyboard or mouse are recognized by the OS, even when booting into safe mode, they are however recognized in the Windows Recovery Enviroment.
I tried various things now, first the basics like unplugging everything and pluging just the KB in etc or changing the UEFI/Bios settings for legacy USB and so on.

then i tried to repair windows via the recovery enviroment with sfc and dism but neither found any corrupted files.

After that i booted into my Linux installation and checked the USB/HID Registry values under HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSet, i saw that different keyboards that i plugged in get recognized as a Keyboard with their corresponding default driver (kbdclass.sys /keyboard.inf) , but they don't work regardless.

There is also a wierd behaviour going on when beeing in the Login-Screen, a keyboard LED's will light up for a short period after booting and then go dark, but will then do the same thing again twice after plugging in any other input device.

I really hope someone of you has already encountered this and knows a solution to the Problem.
As i do not have PS2 Input devices lying around this is unfortunately not a solution.
