O Conde de Steinbroken é uma personagem do romance Os Maias, de Eça de Queiroz.
Steinbroken é, durante o desenrolar da narrativa, diplomata e ministro da Finlândia em Portugal. É um frequentador dos serões d'O Ramalhete e amigo de Afonso da Maia.
A sua relação com a família Maia começa quando Afonso da Maia se disponibiliza a alugar umas cocheiras à embaixada finlandesa. Farto de tantas burocracias diplomáticas, Afonso acaba por doar as cocheiras. Steinbroken, assumindo tal acto como um serviço feito ao rei da Finlândia, visita Afonso da Maia com toda a Legação Finlandesa em Portugal. Afonso torna-se assim seu simpatizante, apreciando as suas qualidades de enologia e whist (um jogo de cartas da época).
Steinbroken é, também, um especialista em canto, sendo dotado de uma excelente voz, muita apreciada pelo Marquês, amigo de Carlos e regular convidado do Ramalhete.
Quando Carlos da Maia regressa de Paris, em 1886, João de Ega informa-o que Steinbroken partira para a Legação Finlandesa em Atenas.
