I built my own machine, my second one. I am running Windows 10 on it with an Aorus motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 cpu and a samsung m.2 sssd.

At first, I thought that the computer lost power or crashed when it was in sleep mode. After reading the event logs, it appears that the computer crashes when I wake the computer. It attempts to create a dump file but fails. For some reason, when the computer begins to wake, it loses power and since it fails to write a dump file and files get deleted (due to not being saved), the computer then runs a disk check.

I have ran some dskchk and sfc /scannow and everything comes out clean. I did get a failed "disk repair" test the other day (not a failed disk) and the OS did not boot. I had to reinstall windows.

Anyway... Any suggestions on what to look for regarding loss of power when waking computer from sleep mode?EventLog
