I have tried using the SUBTOTAL
function to do what I want, but it isn't working the way I want it to.
Here, it appears the formula is working perfectly with the filter still on.
Here, however, the formula did not do as I want, and instead just the values that would be in the blank cells.
Note, I am very new to Excel so this may be just a simple oversight on my part.
I used the formula =SUBTOTAL(103,$S$1:S1)
and then just filled that into all the cells while in the filtered mode. How do I get this to work?

Try applying the formula to all desired rows on the unfiltered data. It looks like you left out a few rows, because there are cells with no formula or result in column U. The principle works, if applied properly.
