I'm running Ubuntu 18.10 with an Nvidia 1070ti connected to a Samsung TV. There is a large issue because the system is unusable due to the screen brightness being extremely dim. Moreover the brightness adjustment bar is not present where it should be. I have a feeling this has to do with the Nvidia graphics card/drivers. Has anyone run into this issue, and if so how did you fix it?
