I find it incredibly irritating that if I select Restart or Shut Down from the Start Menu on Windows 10, it still leaves the user logged in. I have three profiles on my computer, I've turned off Fast startup on all three. If I'm on one, restart, and log into another, the first one is still logged in. It is creating some issues with Task Scheduler in addition to that annoying "another user is already logged in" when you go to restart/shutdown.

I know I can use ALT + F4 from the desktop when I need to restart/shutdown and that does take care of the issue. However, sometimes I forget due to decades of habit. Then I run into an issue with some scheduled tasks because the task is already running under a different profile.

How do I turn this behavior off so that when I restart or shutdown from the start menu, it logs the current user out?
