O Ferroviário Esporte Clube é um clube de futebol da cidade de São Luís, no estado do Maranhão, Brasil.
Foi fundado em 1941 por funcionários da Estrada de Ferro São Luís-Teresina, tendo como cores oficiais o vermelho, verde e branco.
Somente a partir de 1954 a equipe resolveu participar dos campeonatos oficiais da Federação Maranhense de Futebol.
Foi o primeiro time maranhense a participar de uma competição nacional de clubes: a Taça Brasil de Futebol de 1959, competição essa reconhecida hoje como um Brasileirão. Dos clubes em atividade no futebol maranhense, o Ferroviário está atrás apenas dos três grandes, na ordem Sampaio Corrêa, Moto Club e Maranhão em número de campeonatos estaduais, sendo campeão maranhense 4 vezes.
