I would like to know how to create a spreadsheet in excel to solve a transfer function to find steady state error. An example is shown in the pictures. Im required to use excel as part of the assignment, MATLAB is not allowed. The attached pictures show an example and needed equations to find the error. The assignment requires to allow the user to input a function (like the example), and then the user gets the error values. All I know in excel is the basic formula operation (= + - * /). My attempt involved entering the Zeros (e.g. 500*2*5) and Poles (e.g 8*10*12) manually in a separate cell. I want to know which functions to use or any other method for entering just the transfer function and then get all the error values.

Hello James, we are not here to do your homework for you. Please edit your question to show what you have tried - preferably with sample data, and exactly what issues you are facing and you should get the help you need to solve your issues.

Done. I added my attempt.

What formula are you using? Also, instead of posting your data in an image, it would help us help you a little better if you can post in a table.

how can I post it in a table? Im simply using the "=C3*C5" for example. All cells are connected to each other, once I manually change "Zeros", "Poles", and "Gain", I get the errors. @BruceWayne
