I'm trying to get the absolute abomination that is Citrix Workspace to do what it is claimed to do - connect to a service.

A previous version of Receiver did connect from another machine, but on this particular windows installation, no version of their client app will connect.

It does not provide any reason, just informs me that the connection was interrupted and that I should contact the help desk.

The system I'm running this on is a Windows 10 box, and is a fresh install.

Receiver on this machine complains that the smart card service driver is not working - the service is enabled, and I do not use smart cards.

Can anybody advise what the prerequisites are for this absolute hell creation, or any troubleshooting steps that could help me find the cause of the issue?

I have generated logs using the CDFControl application, but they are just CSV exports of the windows logs, and show absolutely nothing related to Citrix connections when launched from a web page (as the service I'm connecting to is).

Any help would be appreciated, because Citrix doesn't seem to care about supporting anybody who has not paid for a service contract with them.
