I have a Windows 10 installation on my SSD. Sadly, this SSD has only 128GB of memory. So I want to switch to another SSD with 1TB.
The only way I can imagine is to boot a Live Linux distro from DVD, then copy the old SSD to the new one, finally connect the new SSD to the SATA-port where the old one was and boot.
Is there any faster and easier way? Does this way even work or will I end up with a non-bootable SSD (the large one)?
Note: I don't have any free third disc to store anything to and I don't have a Windows 10 installation medium.

You need cloning software, just copying files will not cut it. AIOMEI partition Manager Free can do this, and the only thing you need to do is connect the 2nd harddisk to your computer, install the software in windows, and perform the action from there. (the software will reboot your computer into a special mode so it can copy the windows partition.)
